Born from a series of long-dormant sketches, SP One celebrates MB&F’s creative freedom. As the brand approached its 20th anniversary, the team returned to the roots of what makes MB&F unique: the courage to follow instinct over market trends, and the will to create the extraordinary. The result is a piece that distills complexity into poetic simplicity, without compromising an ounce of MB&F’s identity.
SP One reveals a triad of floating elements – barrel, balance wheel, and dial –magically suspended within a sapphire amphitheater. This visual harmony evokes awe: each component seems to hover, turning the wrist into a stage for a mechanical ballet. It’s a spectacle of engineering and design, made even more profound by its compact, pebble-like case and bezel-free silhouette.
At 38mm, the SP One becomes the most compact MB&F timepiece ever created, yet it embodies the brand’s iconic three-dimensional architecture. The case feels smooth and tactile, while the detached lugs add a sense of lightness and fluidity to its form. This watch doesn’t shout – it radiates quiet brilliance.
Its in-house manual movement is a masterpiece of spatial design. The signature balance wheel, positioned at 2 o’clock, pulses like a flying saucer.
