ROLEX INTRODUCES THE PERPETUAL PADELLONE
Rolex expands its Perpetual collection with one of its most sophisticated releases of 2026. The new Perpetual Padellone combines an instantaneous complete calendar with a moonphase display, housed in an elegantly proportioned case and powered by the new caliber 7190.
The name revives a term used by collectors to describe certain historic Rolex watches distinguished by their large diameter and slim profile. For this new interpretation, Rolex chose a 39 mm case, available in 18 ct Everose gold or 950 platinum, with carefully designed lugs that preserve the watch’s balanced proportions.
The dial is one of the main highlights. The complete calendar displays the day of the week and month through two apertures, while the date is indicated around the perimeter by a dedicated hand. At 6 o’clock, the moonphase display features a disc depicting the night sky, giving the watch one of its most distinctive visual details.

Inside is the new caliber 7190, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Among its key features is the instantaneous complete calendar mechanism, which allows its indications to advance simultaneously at the date change. It offers approximately 66 hours of power reserve and carries the Superlative Chronometer certification.
Depending on the version, the Perpetual Padellone is paired with either an Everose gold bracelet or an alligator leather strap. With this release, Rolex revisits a historic watchmaking configuration through a contemporary collection, bringing a major complication back to the forefront of its catalog.
