CLASSIC FUSION BALLOON DOG BY JEFF KOONS
Hublot presents the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons, a collaboration that brings one of the American artist’s most famous works to a watch. The model draws inspiration from Balloon Dog, the sculpture that transformed a balloon figure associated with childhood into an artwork recognized around the world.
The project goes far beyond adding a few decorative details. Hublot redesigned the architecture of the Classic Fusion to recreate the volume and tension of an inflated balloon. The 42 mm case features curved surfaces and rounded lines that extend to the sapphire crystal, screws, dial, hour markers, and hands.

The crown is shaped like a balloon valve, while a flexible element positioned at 10:30 recalls the dog’s tail. The seconds hand counterweight also reproduces the Balloon Dog figure, and the padded strap continues the same play on shapes.
The watch is available in mirror-polished stainless steel as well as red or blue anodized aluminum. Inside is the HUB1710 automatic caliber, offering a 50-hour power reserve. Each version is limited to 200 pieces.

JEFF KOONS
For decades, Hublot has explored combinations that move beyond traditional watchmaking. This time, it has partnered with an artist who has also built his career by exploring ideas capable of generating very different opinions. The result may appeal more to some than to others, but one thing is clear. Hublot remains willing to experiment and take watchmaking into unexpected territory.
