LONGINES COMPLETELY REDESIGNS THE MASTER COLLECTION
Longines unveiled the new Master Collection with a campaign that brings together its six Ambassadors of Elegance for the first time. Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lawrence, Henry Cavill, Zhao Liying, Yosh Yu and Eddie Peng star in “Home of Elegance,” the campaign chosen by the Swiss watchmaker to introduce the latest evolution of a collection that has been part of its catalog since 2005.
Beyond the star-studded cast, there are significant watchmaking updates. The Master Collection has been completely redesigned with new cases, concave bezels, barleycorn-patterned dials and redesigned bracelets. The collection includes three-hand models in 30, 34, 39 and 41 mm, alongside new chronograph and moonphase versions.
The biggest watchmaking novelty is the Master Collection Chrono Monopusher, the first monopusher chronograph introduced within the collection. Its stainless-steel case measures 41 mm, while a single pusher integrated into the crown controls the chronograph’s start, stop and reset functions. The dial also features a pulsometer scale, inspired by historical chronographs once used to measure heart rate.
Inside is the L799.5, a Longines-exclusive hand-wound mechanical movement featuring a column wheel, silicon balance spring and a power reserve of up to 68 hours.

The choice of a monopusher is rooted in the brand’s history. Longines introduced one of its first monopusher wrist chronographs in 1911 and, two years later, developed the 13.33Z calibre. More than a century later, that history returns through a renewed Master Collection, this time accompanied by six of the most recognizable figures associated with the brand.
