Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01707, Carbotech Technology with Vintage Appeal

Panerai introduces the new Luminor Marina PAM01707, a model that combines the collection’s instantly recognizable architecture with one of the brand’s most advanced materials. Its 44mm case is crafted from Carbotech™, a carbon-fiber composite that provides high resistance, low weight, and an irregular surface pattern that gives each watch a slightly different appearance.

The technical case is balanced by a matte black dial. Its Arabic numerals and hour markers feature beige Super-LumiNova® that glows green in the dark, a choice inspired by Panerai’s historic instruments. The small seconds display occupies its traditional position at 9 o’clock, while the omission of a date window creates a cleaner layout. A brown calfskin strap with contrasting stitching reinforces the vintage character. An additional black rubber strap is also included.

Inside is the automatic P.9010 manufacture caliber, a 200-component movement equipped with two barrels and a three-day power reserve. It allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently in one-hour increments and includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.

Measuring 14.5mm thick, weighing approximately 100 grams, and water-resistant to 300 meters, the PAM01707 retains the capabilities expected from a Luminor Marina. The result is a convincing balance of wrist presence, comfort, and functionality, without compromising the strong visual identity that has made the collection one of the most recognizable in modern watchmaking.
