PIAGET INTRODUCES THE NEW POLO MINUTE REPEATER

Piaget expands one of its most recognizable collections with the new Polo Minute Repeater, a timepiece that combines one of haute horlogerie’s great complications with the Maison’s expertise in ultra-thin movements.

At its heart is the 1290P calibre, an automatic mechanical minute repeater movement developed by the Piaget Manufacture. Part of its inner workings is revealed through a partially openworked white gold dial, hand-guilloché and finished in blue PVD, complemented by a blue sapphire ring.

The rhodium-finished white gold case measures 48 mm in diameter and just 9.3 mm thick, a particularly impressive profile considering the complexity of the movement inside. Presented as a numbered edition, the watch comes on an embossed blue calfskin strap, with an additional alligator leather strap.

Alongside this piece, Piaget introduces the Polo Emperador Minute Repeater High Jewellery. This interpretation houses the same 1290P calibre inside a 48 mm white gold case, featuring baguette-cut blue sapphires on the bezel and diamonds set across the case, lugs, and crown. For this version, the Maison specifies a sound intensity of 64 decibels.

Two new expressions of Piaget’s watchmaking expertise, bringing the complexity of the minute repeater into the distinctive world of the Polo collection.
