Frederique Constant expands the Classics Runabout collection with a new GMT function
Since 2013, the Classics Runabout collection has embodied the partnership between Frederique Constant and the Riva Historical Society, the organization dedicated to preserving the iconic wooden boats that helped define European yachting. Every two years, this collaboration gives rise to a new limited edition that combines nautical inspiration with the Geneva Manufacture’s watchmaking expertise.
For 2026, the Maison introduces the new Classics Runabout Automatic GMT, the first model in the collection to feature a Manufacture GMT complication. Housed in a 42 mm stainless steel case, it is offered with either a deep blue or teak-brown dial inspired by the wooden decks of classic Riva boats, with each version limited to 888 pieces.

The second time zone is displayed through a central GMT hand with a luminescent arrow tip and a 24-hour scale positioned at the center of the dial, complemented by a date display at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is an automatic movement equipped with a Manufacture GMT module, visible through the smoked sapphire caseback, which also features the emblem of the Riva Historical Society.
As with every edition in the collection, the timepiece is presented in a dedicated presentation box that includes a miniature replica of a Riva boat, reinforcing the collectible nature of a series that continues to evolve while remaining true to the identity that has made it one of Frederique Constant’s most distinctive collections.
