Longines Expands the Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve Collection
Longines has unveiled a new version of the Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve, further expanding one of the brand’s most iconic collections. Following the 2024 edition released to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Conquest line, this new model revives one of Longines’ most distinctive complications from the late 1950s while introducing a refreshed, contemporary look.
The highlight is its central power reserve display, an uncommon feature in modern watchmaking that uses two rotating discs positioned at the center of the dial. A baton-shaped indicator shows the remaining power reserve on a scale from 64 to 0 hours, creating a dynamic visual effect as the watch runs.

The new model features a refined light blue opaline dial and is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or a gray leather strap. Its 38 mm stainless steel case preserves the classic proportions of the collection, while the box-shaped sapphire crystal, trapezoidal date window at 12 o’clock, and applied indexes reinforce its vintage-inspired character.
Powering the watch is the Longines L896.5 automatic movement, equipped with a silicon balance spring, magnetic resistance, and a power reserve of up to 72 hours. The movement can be admired through the transparent caseback and is backed by Longines’ five-year warranty for this caliber.
With this release, Longines brings one of its historic complications back into the spotlight, proving that a design conceived more than six decades ago can remain as relevant today as ever through modern watchmaking expertise.
